  5. Designed for performance and flexibility, the Apple Macintosh Centris
  6. 650 is the most expandable Macintosh Centris computer. Like all
  7. Macintosh Centris models, the Macintosh Centris 650 is ideal for
  8. mainstream business and professional users. The Macintosh Centris 650
  9. offers the speed and power you need to get the job done in the most
  10. demanding environments, and the flexibility to grow as your needs
  11. change.

  13. Based on the fast, 25-megahertz Motorola 68040 CPU, the Macintosh Centris
  14. 650 provides affordable high performance. The Macintosh Centris 650 comes
  15. with 4 megabytes of RAM and a built-in 8K cache for speed up to 2.5 times
  16. that of the Macintosh IIci and IIvx. For increased performance, you can
  17. expand memory up to 132 megabytes or add an optional math coprocessor.

  19. For performance and convenience, the Macintosh Centris 650 works with all
  20. Apple displays. The standard Macintosh Centris 650 can display 256 crisp
  21. colors on the Macintosh 16-inch display. For photographic-quality images,
  22. a video upgrade lets you show 32,768 colors on the same display.

  24. You can use the Macintosh Centris 650’s expandablity to set up a system
  25. that meets your exact needs, or to increase your computing power as your
  26. needs grow. Customize your system by adding NuBus expansion cards in the
  27. three expansion slots provided, or with an on-board networking capability
  28. add an Ethernet option. The Macintosh Centris 650 comes standard with an
  29. internal hard drive, and its high-speed SCSI interface lets you add
  30. additional high-volume storage devices, such as the AppleCD 300i internal
  31. CD ROM drive, so you can run CD-ROM applications in brilliant color.
